    Role Summary

    This role is part of the Recruitment and Retention Team within the People and Culture Branch of a state government department. The team is dedicated to providing high level human resource services including attraction and retention strategies, end to end recruitment, policy advice, and workforce planning. This role will be based out of either Wangaratta or Shepparton.

    This role will have the following responsibilities:

    • Provide generalist human resources (HR) advice and support to managers.
      • Answer queries, provide timely advice and take follow up action as required. * Prepare routine HR documentation (such as job advertisements, job descriptions, training outlines) * Participate in the implementation of new and changed strategies and practices. * Support managers throughout the recruitment and on-boarding lifecycle * Other duties and projects as required by the HR Manager / P&C Team

      In order to be successful for this role, you will have the following:

      • Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources support / administrative role
      • Demonstrated organisational skills and strong attention to detail * Strong interpersonal and communication skills including sound written skills
