Role and Responsibilities

The key roles are responsibilities of this role include:

  • Undertake a range of project support services including budget and financial reporting, administration and business support, document control, data entry and reporting.
  • Be the main administrative interface for ITS internal and external stakeholders and the identified projects
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable processing.
  • Manage transportation/travel arrangements, organise couriers and manage police check processes (as required).
  • Assist the Senior Manager- Innovation, Projects and Governance as required, to meet all financial, compliance and administrative accountabilities managed by ITS for Parks Victoria.
  • End-of-Month finance reporting and processing
  • Preparation of monthly projects performance reporting.

Understand Workplace health and Safety commitments relevant to the role.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in budget management and accounting practices.
  • Demonstrated experience with Oracle financial systems
  • Demonstrated experience as an IT project support officer.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a high proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Previous document control and administration experience
  • The ability to work under limited supervision

A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, business management or a related discipline would be advantageous.
