Based in the Perth CBD, lies an exciting opportunity to be a part of a well-established, leading ASX listed national property developer. This reputable organisation is renowned for designing and developing residential communities for over a century. This role is integral to the Finance & Business Improvement team with great opportunities to educate and engage amongst project teams in a collaborative and passionate environment.

The Role

Reporting to a member of the Executive Team, the Senior Business Analyst will solely support the Operations team for the west region (WA, SA & NT) by assisting and co-ordinating budget updates, forecasts and partnering with project teams to achieve key business milestones. The successful candidate will be a strong conduit between two main business functions and will be responsible for process and system improvements in conjunction with the larger Business Analysts team. This role will have exposure to all levels of the business and will confidently lead a team of two Business Analysts based in WA and SA. An ability to deliver technical information to a non-technical audience is paramount to the Senior Business Analyst position, holding workshops and focusing on knowledge sharing.

Your day to day responsibilities include developing project models, working with operations to maximise project outcomes and maintaining expenditure controls for projects on the group's ERP system.

You

To be successful in this position you will ideally have property development experience with advanced financial modelling skills on excel, strong commercial and financial acumen coupled with a flexible and consultative approach. Excellent oral and written communication will be essential with a confident and engaging presentation style. You will be degree qualified with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in Accounting, with a CA or CPA certification. Familiarity or experience with Power Query, Power BI and Kepion are desirable albeit not essential.

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years working in a Financial Analysis capacity (finance and operations)
  • Strong experience in the management of Cash Flows, P&L, Forecast and budgets.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills in excel (Power BI, Power Query)
  • Tools: VBA, SQL, Power BI
  • Qualifications: CA, CMA or CFA
  • Degree in Commerce or Property
