The Firm

Our client is a highly regarded law firm who are currently on the lookout for an intermediate legal assistant to join their busy insurance team. They are recognised for their expertise in their respective areas and are looking for an individual who will bring a mature and professional approach to their business. This is a fast paced role that will suit someone who thrives in a busy environment and can handle working towards tight deadlines.

The Role

This is an temp assignment will require a legal assistant for an immediate start. The successful candidate will be a proactive individual who will be instrumental in helping the firm achieve their targets. To be considered for this role, you will have had at least 3+ years' experience within a legal support setting. Some day to day duties will include:

  • Word processing, document preparation and drafting correspondence
  • Electronic diary management (Outlook)
  • Financials - including external/internal billing and reporting, and third party invoicing
  • Liaising with both internal and external clients as required
  • Organizing travel arrangements
  • All general administrative tasks including filing and photocopying

Candidate skills

  • 3+ years Legal Secretarial experience
  • Corporately presented
  • Experience in online court filing
  • FILEPRO experience is required in this role
  • Accurate typing speed of at least 65 words per minute
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • High level attention to detail
  • Ability to work towards deadlines
