Large State Government Organisation
ASAP Start - $42.53 per hour + super
Initial six month Contract

The role:

As the Marketing Co-ordinator you will provide support across three campaigns to raise awareness and engagement for this key organisation that makes Victoria what it is! Reporting in to the Senior Manager of Marketing & Visitor Services you will focus on publicity and promotion for some of the best heritage, environmental and social assets in Australia. This will involve liaising with photographers, videographers and influencers. You will travel to locations across Victoria to deliver engaging content.


  • Assist the Senior Marketing Coordinator with planning and producing digital content for three current digital marketing campaigns, including liaison with internal stakeholders regarding content production at various destinations around the State.
  • Writing, editing, proof reading and managing content publication across multiple digital platforms.
  • Provide general marketing support to the rest of the team, including production of corporate and promotional materials, publications, presentations, reports, forms and templates, signage and displays.
  • Afterhours and weekend work will be required.
  • Provide marketing and branding advice and guidance to staff, stakeholders and suppliers regarding the visual style, marketing and visitor services strategies, standards, systems and tools.
  • Reporting on performance of content and strategies for the three campaigns and other activities.
  • Work closely with photographers, influencers and videographers to plan, develop and deliver content, including travel with them overnight in regional Victoria to record stories and images.


  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Copywriting and proof reading.
  • Coordination and supervision of photo shoots and video production.
  • Knowledge of regional Victoria would be an advantage.
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Interest and experience visiting hiking destinations in Victoria is highly desirable.
  • Organising and planning complex project aligned with business objectives, identifying and securing resource requirements, and anticipating and addressing barriers to success.
  • Digital content production, optimisation and evaluation for a range of platforms.
  • Marketing project management.
