My client is one of the Top 4 Banks. There is a new opening for a Customer Service Consultant available within the Mortgage Service Centre, based in Parramatta. This role assists branches, internal business units, internal/external customers, individuals and companies by acting as the first point of contact for the Home Ownership Services.

The Role:

  • Provide information on the banks products, aiming for first call resolution, escalating more complex calls when required
  • You will manage 4 types of calls- Product queries, Applications in Progress, Post Approval and Loan Servicing - mainly inbound calls
  • Provide an excellent level of customer service on each call ensuring accurate and factual information is provided
  • Update all systems with conversations
  • Direct calls outside 4 key areas internally to the relevant department
  • Ensure all inbound calls are answered and completed within standard timeframes

The Person:

  • Previous experience working in a Banking environment (highly desirable)
  • Previous telephone based Customer Service experience (desirable)
  • Strong, clear and confident communicator
  • Excellent attention to detail
