The role

An opportunity for an experienced and professional Payroll Officer now exists due to organisational growth. With an immediate start, you will be required to hit the ground running, and as such, will have a sound understanding of relevant Payroll software, as well as an exceptional knowledge of industrial awards and EBAs.

Duties

  • High volume, end to end payroll processing
  • Providing an exceptional level of customer service in resolving payroll queries
  • Maintaining employee data and reporting on a monthly basis
  • Processing termination payments
  • Calculating leave balances and entitlements

Skills & experience

  • Experience working in a similar role, ideally from a large team environment or within a national company
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLookUp)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A police check clearance will be highly advantageous
  • Experience with SAGE or Micropay
