This is an exciting opportunity for an outcome focused People Development Specialist to identify, coordinate and implement initiatives focusing on staff development, e-learning and digital learning programs and strategies. Working in collaboration with the People and Culture Advisory Team, this role is part of a small team which designs, delivers and evaluates programs and initiatives to develop organisational capability and capacity to deliver products and services that align with their values of integrity, respect, diversity, purpose and excellence, with a future focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies and programs to support the continuous improvement of staff
  • Ensure programs are fit for purpose and serves as a key driver for performance and career development outcomes.
  • Build the confidence and capability of the workforce through innovative and engaging development plans and programs.
  • Review e-learning materials and systems to ensure they align with strategic requirements
  • Provide contemporary, professional and innovative internal learning and development consulting expertise across the University
  • Build and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation


  • Postgraduate qualifications in human resources, organisational behavior, psychology, or related field
  • Experience in a similar role in a complex organisation with responsibility for design, delivery and evaluation of people development programs
  • Applied knowledge of contemporary and innovative learning and development models
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills behaviours
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully creating engaging and innovative e-learning programs
