Hudson has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, communicating and supporting the delivery of community programs designed to build the leadership, project management and professional capabilities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in cultural, creative and heritage sectors.

This exciting opportunity is an 18 month non-ongoing position with a possibility for permanence.

To be successful for the role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the effective delivery of community-led projects in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, enterprises and communities
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workload, and deliver results
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in cultural, creative heritage sectors
  • Experience working on community development programs
  • Experience in procurement and contracts, preferably in a Government setting
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability build networks and manage multiple stakeholder relationships
  • An ability to negotiate, problem solve and resolve conflict in an inter-cultural environment
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with a proven ability to think and act strategically
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve agreed outcomes
  • An understanding of and ability to apply government processes and accountability frameworks
  • Proven time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks through project management and coordination
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift, with an ability to be flexible and adapt to change
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, a solutions-focused attitude and the ability to think creatively to build the business' capacity for innovation
