Innovative NFP health related organisation

Fixed term opportunity!

A unique opportunity for an experienced Program Officer to work for a creative, innovative and culturally diverse NFP health-related organisation, assisting in building strong relationships with a range of Government and non-Government stakeholders. You should be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with healthcare professionals and be experienced in commissioning high quality, locally relevant and effective health services informed by the needs assessment and market analysis.

You will be working in collaboration with key partners in incorporating new and existing event activities to deliver health-related education and small group learning to key target communities. You will be working alongside the Program Manager to communicate new and upcoming changes within health care, and proactively identify potential risks relating to the program area.

A successful candidate should have:

  • Qualification or relevant training and experience in health/events/education field
  • Experience in delivering programs or service
  • Organisational skills with proven ability to work autonomously
  • Build strong and positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven high level written, verbal and electronic communications skill

This is a fixed-term contract with an opportunity to extend. You may need to attend evening events and also be flexible with the location of organisation. You must have access to a motor vehicle and be in possession of a current NSW driver's licence.
