Hudson is currently partnered with various educational organisations (Universities, Schools and RTO's) to supply them with temporary and contract staff.

We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist to support academic staff and students within a school office. You will be client facing, perform administration and reception duties while providing a high level of customer service and support for our staff, students, parents and other visitors.

This is a four month contract position with possible extension for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for students, parents and other guests, providing a high level of customer service
  • Answering phone calls and either providing information or directing them to the correct member of staff
  • To produce various documents, reports, minutes and other correspondence as required
  • Photocopying and/or distributing reports as well as well as other general reception duties
  • Processing forms in a timely manner
  • Provide assistance when it comes to scheduling meetings and appointments as well as venues and catering
  • Purchasing of goods such as stationary, equipment and printing items
  • Provide assistance and support to both staff and students in regards to administration matters
  • Maintain records and information correctly and within the established system
  • Provide assistance to Student Services in regards to admissions, enrolments, examinations and graduations
  • Provide updates on the Student Information System in relation to course materials/resources

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Substantial previous experience working in an administrative role within a school/university
  • Strong administration and organisational skills, with previous experience in a similar role
  • The ability to efficiently and effectively prioritise tasks in order to keep things running smoothly
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Good working knowledge of the MS Office
  • Ability to work both autonomously or as part of a team
  • Experience with Maze or Synergetic
