In this role you will be working for Melbourne's leading International University. You will be a Senior Desktop Support Officer responsible for supporting a wide variety of technologies including desktop, network, server, and AV technology. The role will have a strong focus on customer service and your ability to solve complex problems for different University faculties.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience working in large and complex IT environments
  • An ability to demonstrate your ability to work autonomously
  • Have worked in an ITIL environment using a ticketing system
  • Have mentored or acted as a technical escalation point for less experienced staff
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent handling of customer requirements and complaints
  • Able to show your experience in managing mini projects (eg site moves)

In return as the Senior Desktop Support Officer you will also be trained to provide AV technical leadership as an AV subject matter expert. You will be joining a team with a great work ethic and customer centric focus.
