This role will be responsible for HR matters across corporate services for this blue collar organisation. Managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle including and supporting the business through changing times.

The accontabilities of the role are:

  • Contribute to the delivery of practical, value adding HR.
  • Play a key role in driving organisational effectiveness in workforce planning issues around resource management, strraction and retention and performance management.
  • Monitor Industrial Relations developments and communicate to rlevenat parties.
  • Represent the Company in dealings with other organisations, industry associations, unions, government authorities as and when required.
  • Conduct market competitive analysis on reward and benefits to ensure internal relativity.
  • Provide remuneration advice to both white and blue collar employees.
  • Manage and coordinate the annual salary review.
  • Ensure all regular and ad hoc reports are submitted accurately.
  • Undertake ad hoc continuous improvement projects and any other HR projects as and when required.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to line managers in HR and IR matters.
  • Contribute to the development of HRIS to meet human resource management requirements.

The person:

  • HR or relevant tertiary qualification
  • At least 5 years experience in a range of HR and ER matters including exposure to a blue collar workforce
  • HRIS experience
  • A strong understanding as well as experience of the IR Framework in Australia
  • Proven stakeholder management
  • Highly motivated and proactive
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong desire for process improvement
  • Experience of SAP is desirable
