A large, complex government organisation is seeking to engage 2 experienced Senior Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of multiple ICT projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the successful delivery of large ICT projects, and Office365 experience.

This is an initial 6 month contract opportunity, with the possibility of an extension, located in Brisbane CBD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for the successful delivery of projects based on PRINCE2 and Agile frameworks.
  • Create, maintain and obtain approval for project scope, schedule, budget, resource plan, communications plan, and risks/issues log.
  • Manage day-to-day tasking and performance of a project delivery team comprising employees, contractors, professional service resources and vendors.
  • Deliver project outcomes via business-led decision making workshops and options papers.
  • Implement ICT changes in compliance with ITIL processes including Change Management.
  • Coordinate ICT procurement activities in compliance with organisational procurement policies.
  • Coordinate handover of project deliverables for ongoing support via a structured Support Transition Framework.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated 5+ years' experience in successful delivery of ICT projects using both PRINCE2 and Agile.
  • Demonstrated experience in successful delivery of cloud migration projects (Office 365 experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience delivering ICT projects involving significant organisation change.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project delivery teams comprising a mix of employees, contractors and vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience working in large, complex Government or private organisations.
  • Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and negotiation skills with the ability to comfortably engage with C-level executives.
  • Professional representation to internal and external stakeholders.
  • A hands-on project manager who will develop and manage detailed schedules and project management artefacts for all stages of the project lifecycle and actively engage and manage resources and suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure delivery.
