Building a New Team - Multiple Opportunities

Cross River Rail will unlock a bottleneck at the core of our rail system that will allow more trains to run more often, easing pressure on our roads and keeping SEQ's transport network moving. It will change forever the way in which we travel, the shape of Brisbane as a city and the whole region. To successfully deliver Cross River Rail we need the very best people and are seeking expressions of interest from talented professionals.

As a stakeholder engagement and community relations professional, you cannot get a more exciting, high profile and multi-faceted project to support. Brown-field, green-field, PPP, competitive alliance and more, the Cross River Rail is not just one of the most sizable infrastructure projects in Queensland's history, it is urban renewal and precinct development, with significant and long-lasting impact for the State. Be a part of this amazing opportunity and join an expert team.

The Stakeholder Engagement Team is the critical interface with government (in the broadest sense), businesses, property owners, residents and communities, for project updates, upcoming works and potential impacts. As a Team, you will elevate the importance of engagement, consultation and knowledge, so vital messaging is delivered and wide-ranging stakeholders are well informed.

Operating within a niche and experienced team, you will tailor and implement the Stakeholder Engagement Strategy to suit different precincts, and forge professional connections at multiple levels. You will ensure consistent messaging for external communications related to stakeholder engagement and issues management activities across identified sites and outcomes.

Internally you will work closely with technical and service delivery leads, to be abreast of planning, construction and commissioning updates, and to put stakeholder consultation and communication activities front and centre. Critical stakeholders will include and are not limited to QLD State Government, BCC, RNA, Coach Terminal operators, QLD Rail, retail and other businesses, contractors and alliance partners, commuters and residents.

Transfer your stakeholder engagement expertise from heavy industry/infrastructure (transport, construction, resources, engineering etc) here, and enjoy the fast-paced environment of projects. Salaries are circa $115k, on a contract basis ranging from 12-14 months. Culturally if your default position is YES, and you have an orientation to deliver outcomes, then don't delay and apply NOW.
