Government agency seeking highly organised Team Assistant to provide a range of administration and support services.



The opportunity currently exists for a focused and well-organised individual to join this Government office, providing administrative and support services to facilitate the operation of the team. Applicants with a background in administration and strong communication skills will be highly regarded.



Responsibilities:



    • Routine correspondence
    • handling enquiries, escalating and re-directing issues, providing clear communication.
    • Maintain and update office records (hard and soft copies), storing new documents correctly, adhering to current systems and processes, ensuring that all information is accurate and accessible.

    • Meeting/event preparations and support
    • scheduling, alerting relevant staff, resources, technical set up, catering, preparing documentation and presentations, and room booking/venues. You will, from time to time, be required to attend meetings and provide input/share information.
    • Regular reporting and management of excel spreadsheets, to support information flow and inform decision making.

    • Invoices and payments.

    • Multi-tasking over a variety of administrative activities, providing quality and accuracy of work by agreed deadlines.





    Relevant skills required:



    • Knowledge of regular office software
    • outlook, excel, word, etc.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • both verbal and non-verbal.
    • Ability to multi-task, priorities, and plan tasks
    • as well as following up on progress of other tasks.
    • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

    • Ability to work well under pressure to meet required timeframes.
