Our client is globally renowned business communications provider who are seeking a sales specialist to help grow their business in the UK and Europe.

This sales director position is to be based in HK with the primary focus of account management and business development with clients located in the both the UK and Europe.

This role will look to drive new business growth, but also focus on product strategy for the publishing services business, acting as an interface between the external clients and internal support functions. In essence a role handling both new target engagement but also support to existing business - offering solutions, pricing, production and design. (Farmer and Hunter.)

You will execute sales activities and campaigns to implement company's overall sales strategy to develop new clients and meet the assigned sales target; manage sales activities with potential clients who are of strategic importance to the company; influence decision-making of the client during the process of visits, presentations and contract negotiations; connect and manage senior level relationships in the client's organisation to win projects; monitor market trend and competitor's activities; provide relevant reports and information; create the product - account strategy, together with internal, external stakeholders, Commercial Manager and Account Managers, to build a credible and productive longer term relationship with the customers.

You will have:

* A university degree with at least 8 years B2B sales experience both in account management and new business development
* A strong understanding of the publishing industry is key players.
* A demonstrated track record of success in selling publishing solutions.
* The ability to influence with impeccable stakeholder management.
* A customer focused approach with with excellent customer facing presentation.
* Business proficiency in Mandarin would be much preferred but is not essential.
* The candidate must be prepared to travel frequently - both to Europe and China
