The Organisation

This specialised department are part of a large well known NZ organisation. They focus on health innovation, education and improvements and run a wide range of seminars and training events around this.

They are based in Otahuhu with a train station over the road and cheap parking onsite, meaning you can skip the city traffic!

This role is starting ASAP and will be until approx. the end of the year working 9.00am to 5.30pm

The Role

As part of the events team, you will be working with the current events manager who is passionate, inclusive and supportive, and you will be assisting with:

  • Administrative support in relation to conference organisation
  • Managing bookings through online systems, phones and emails
  • Managing rooms - setting up for events, organising catering, tidying and unpacking after events
  • Marketing for events - sending out invites, flyers etc.
  • Assisting customers who come in and directing them to where they need to be.

About you

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong administrative skills and be a quick learner
  • Flexible to do what's required to ensure a successful event
  • Able to start ASAP
