Assistant Brand Manager

Our client is a leading Asian integrated instant food and beverage brand owner and manufacturer. The Assistant Brand Manager will be responsible to manage both local brands as well as recently incorporated regional brands as a result of acquisition.

Responsibilities

* Identify consumer, shopper, and customer insights and execute marketing strategies that will continue to grow brand profitability
* Develop and implement brand marketing plans, including new product/innovation launch, pricing, packaging, distribution and communication plans
* Review brand health and brand performance so as to develop insights and strategies to deliver long-term sustainable growth across categories
* Support global and regional market research projects. Manage and deliver the collation of competitive information and market insights to assist in business reviews and analysis
* Provide support to regional market business units to deliver the financial objectives of the company
* Develop a global brand strategy and translate into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies so as to increase market share of our brands and products. Provide support to measure, report and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of all brand marketing initiatives
* Develop launch & activation plans for geographical brand expansion projects and work closely with the local marketing teams in the deployment of brand communication initiatives across various channels and markets
* Brand guardianship of all brand marketing playbook, materials, communications and activities, including creative development (advertising and packaging) and local adaptations of global/regional assets by working with agencies/vendors to deliver strategically sound communication plans to ensure there is consistency with the product line strategy across markets
* Provide brand support for brand marketing campaigns and brand portfolio optimization across multiple markets that will involve working with key internal business units and external stakeholders - global/regional marketers, business managers, agencies and vendors

Requirements

* Bachelor Degree or equivalent preferred
* At least 3 years' Brand/Marketing/Marketing Communications experience in FMCG industry
* Good project management and organization skills
* Experienced with driving projects and is results and actions oriented
* Previous experience in driving 360° campaigns
* Analytical in thinking with a good sense of brand marketing management.
* Able to collaborate with all levels of the organization, external agencies/ vendors and across geographies
* Able to multi-tasks in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
* Meticulous and attentive to details
* Knowledge in the fields of media planning (traditional and digital), digital communications, public relations and research will be a bonus
