Business Development Director

Our client is a leading provider of network and infrastructure solutions in Singapore. The company is growing exponentially and is looking to hire a seasoned Business Development leader to identify new business opportunities and thus contributing to their growth. You will be actively involved in increasing the partner ecosystem.


* Proactively initiates ventures and strategies to engage new partners and contribute to the partner eco system

* Develops and implements tactical plans to achieve portfolio sales goals and objectives
* Owns and drives key strategic pursuits, leveraging the full range of resources and enablers (including Technical Sales, Sales Support and Business Development), as appropriate

* Conducts account planning and proactively seeks to bring innovative ideas and approaches to the account strategy
* Be instrumental in growing market revenue through new business development, management and expansion of existing client relationships/accounts, and oversight of consultant engagements.

* To develop and orchestrate strategic product development and project deployment with business partners and internal support team
* Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
* Align business opportunities to establish strong and long-term partnerships
* Develop customized proposals/promotions for Clients

* Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff

* Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
* Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.


* Bachelor's degree in a business or engineering discipline or equivalent
* More than 10 years of experience in ICT solution selling. Have an exposure to areas like IOT, Security, Network and Infrastructure, SDN, NFV would be preferred.
* Proven experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
* This person will be positive and passionate, resilient, self-motivated and results driven
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Highly trusted individual who maintains and expects high standards for self and team.
* In-depth knowledge of competition and ability to apply competing successful strategies
