Our client is a well-known luxury retail multinational with strong roots in the community. Over the years, the business has played a vital role in shaping the luxury retail scene and consumers' lifestyles in Singapore.



Developing their people and strengthening their market leadership are a critical part of their plan.

We are seeking a HR Manager to lead the Singapore HR function and support the continued business growth. The role will require you to:



1 Ensure Human Resource policies adhered to in all departments within the business unit to uphold establish standards
2 Advise and ensure compensation packages are competitive and equitable to improve staff morale and retention for internal equity
3 Attract, recruit and retain manpower in accordance to growth requirement of manpower plan
4 Observe prescribed standards effectively when handling all forms of staff issues to promote a fair and transparent working environment
5 Develop and review schemes to attract and retain good talent
6 Implement and manage company succession planning and capabilities for future functions
7 Ensure staff are properly inducted and their developmental needs are met to meet operational standards and requirements
8 Achieve at least 75% of the projected training plan, places and hours for the business
9 Implement and monitor performance management process for optimal performance.



To succeed in this role, you will arrive with a minimum 10 years of Human Resources experience with at least 5 years in managerial position. In addition, you should also have:

1 Sound knowledge of Employment Act, Industrial Relations and Training
2 Strong leadership and people management skills and able to handle employee issues at all levels
3 Possess good business vision, strategic business thinking and strong in execution. Change agent mindset.



This role places you in a position of influence where you will have direct access to business units and feel the pulse of the organisation. Engaging deeply with the line, you will facilitate line discussions by providing HR perspectives and sound guidance on people challenges.
