Our client is a process automation software provider with international headquarters in California looking for a Lead Development Representative.

Job Purpose:

Response and lead management and opportunity development for Marketing and Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

The Lead Development Representative (LDR) acts as an extension of the sales and marketing organizations generating qualified sales opportunities by responding to inbound interest (events, web inquiry, trade shows, digital, social and direct marketing initiatives). The LDR nurtures and sends marketing and sales literature to prospective clients. In addition, this position requires up to date industry knowledge as well as competitive posture our software.

Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand and apply the fundamentals of a prospect or customer's business environment, organization, and strategy is essential to success in this role. Ideal candidates possess the aptitude and or relevant sales or marketing experience to easily understand and articulate the business value of our enterprise software solutions to C-level executives, line of business and IT professionals.

Able to connect easily and establish positive relationships with customers and prospects, including adding new contacts, identifying opportunities, setting appointments, as well as contact nurture/rewarming

This is an excellent opportunity for someone aspiring to become a sales professional for a highly regarded technology company. This is a fulltime, traditional office position with a competitive base salary and eligibility for additional compensation based on meeting objectives (lead and revenue goals).

* High volume reactive outbound calling - proactive rather than reactive
* Opportunity management
* Pre-call preparation
* Provide Field Marketing event support

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 3 years prior B2B telesales or business development
* Proven history of over achievement
* History of effectively managing a large territory, multiple concurrent business processes, and building/maintaining relationships
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
* Readiness to travel

Key Performance Indicators:

* Lead development goal attainment
* Sales lead acceptance (conversion rate)
* Contribution to pipeline and revenue
* Outbound Communications: Email frequency and Phone work (call volume : talk time)

Skills and Knowledge Required:

* Marketing lead and sales opportunity pipeline management
* Consultative/solution selling experience
* Fluency in English and Mandarin (read & spoken); superior written/oral communication and presentation skills.
* Mastery of common business technology (email, CRM, MS Office etc.)
* Familiarity with social media tools
* Ability to utilize social selling techniques
